Right before the pandemic one of the last events I got to attend was the annual Houston Brunch Fest!
When I first heard about brunch fest I immediately joined their email list so I could keep up to date when tickets would go on sale. Anyone who knows me knows I am the Queen of brunch, a brunch babe, brunch or die kinda girl! This festival was my time to shine.
As soon as I got the email I purchased the early bird tickets. Over time the tickets progressively get higher in price so to save some money I recommend getting the first round of tickets by joining their mailing list.
This event is an all you can eat and drink (think bottomless mimosas, bloody mary’s, and more!) and is 100% worth it! They do offer an early bird admission where you can get an additional hour of eating and drinking.
There were 16 different restaurants that provided a small bite (sometimes not so small) or two from their brunch menu’s. The best part is you can go back as many times as you want! Some of the vendors included: BossCat Kitchens and Libations, Eight Turn Crepe, Max’s Wine Dive, Snooze A.M. Eatery, and so many more! The full list can be viewed on the Houston Brunch Fest website.
You also get the chance to vote for your favorite vendor in different categories such as Best Sweet Treat and Best Bite!
This is such a fun date idea, or outing for your foodie friend group! My partner and I both love brunch and had the best time trying the food and making a list of all the new restaurants we plan to frequent!
The best part about this brunch extravaganza is it benefits Heart of America, an organization that transforms spaces in under-resourced schools into advanced learning centers for students and the community. They have distributed more than 4 million books and transformed more than 450 educational schools and spaces with over $2 million in new technology.
I highly recommend adding this to your social calendar for 2021! I can’t wait to go back and brunch hard all day!
